Lexfest Sunday Event - Are you attending?
Folks, we need a count of how many people are coming to the Sunday Lexfest event AND if you're interested in getting lunch brought in to the event. This lunch would be purchased (e.g. Lexus is not picking up the cost like Saturday) and would be $10 - 12. I'm getting the menu, but sounds like variety of sandwiches, sides, drinks, etc.
As a reminder, here's what we have planned:

On Sunday morning August 21, we're planning on a morning 'Lexus cruise' on the back roads up to Quicksilver, the Team Lexus race engine builder's shop where we'd be given a detailed tour of the facility and get a demo of how they build up both turbo and race engines. The drive route was planned and will be led by Team Lexus' primary driver Chuck Goldsboro.
We'd have free dynos for subset of the cars - right now we're anticipating 6 -10 dynos due to time constraints. We're not sure yet how we're going to pick the cars to dyno (lottery / raffle, top HP FI cars on the drive, sign up, etc).
For those that can't meet us at the Team Lexus facilty, mapquest yourself to their engine builder using the following address:

We'd take the scenic back road route to the shop & stop for a quick breakfast along the way probably leaving about 9am. It's about a 45 minute drive from Team Lexus facility. If we can set it up, I'd like to get someone with a pickup truck to do some video of the drive (videographer in back of truck) and Tony, our meet photographer plans on taking some rolling shots.
Relaxing morning drive, shoot some video, take a tour, strap on some dynos, eat lunch, then head home.

I voted in favor of having a lunch provided on Sunday, but that got me thinking. I'm not familiar with the location of Quicksilver. Is it very remote or does it have the usual fast food fair conveniently located near by?
The reason I ask is I know for a fact Hameed, his family, and I don't eat red meat. That's just who I know for sure, there will probably be others as well. If you can provide veggie, tuna, or chicken sandwiches, that would be great. But if there's a Subway (or similar) near by, it might be just as easy for the attendees to go get their own food.

hey i'm going to be at the sunday events with my girlfriend as well... but what are you thinking of getting that'll cost $10-12? i voted for lunch, but if we can keep costs down... i'm all for it.

We don't have the capability to do that without custom programming... its built into the CL forum software, but the www.lexfest.net is built ground up by CL member Hameed and his Prudens Consulting company.

unfortunately i just got called into work dave. im supposed to be "on call". kinda hard to manage that when im 390 miles away. thanks again dave for putting on a great show. that header and catback exhaust i won will be a great compliment to my IS.
