Can anyone recommend service in MetroWest Boston?
Hi guys - I have a 2001 Silver/Gray GS430 and I'm about to roll over 90,000 miles this week. The dealer wants $2000 to perform the standard 90K maintenance ($1100) and replace the water pump and timing belt ($900). That seems a little stiff, even for the Lexus.
Can anyone recommend some private repair shops that may have moderated pricing for these services?
Thanks!
DD.

Same problem here. Let me know if you arrive at anything! Where the hell are the Boston people!
I don't mind driving down to NYC for a weekend to do the service but I am not paying those dealers $2000. this is just INSANE.

I found a place in Boxborough, MA called DRW....
...DRW Motorsports servicing BMW, Mercedes and Lexus. I haven't sought references yet or checked their pricing, but it's a start. I'll let you know if I find any others.
