Glass repair shop in NY?
I have a chip on my windshield and a few on the passenger side window (not sure how those got there). I was wondering if anyone knows of any good glass repair shops in Queens. How much do you think it would cost to get them fixed? The chips seem to be very shallow and not large at all. They actually look more like small dots, but I could feel them with my fingernails when I run them over the glass. Will they be able to make it look like new?

I read somewhere on this forum about some members having tons of little scratch marks all over the winshield. Some members removed these scratches with some vinegar.
Can't seem to find the post but its here somewhere.

Thanks, sputniknyc. I'm almost positive they're chips because when I run my fingernail over it, I can feel a rough depression. But just to be sure, I'll check again. So it looks like the general consensus is to avoid getting a new windshield because there's a chance the install/new windshield might cause wind noise?

SGT, did you ever get your winshield fixed by liberty ave?
i have a small chip (several cm long) and can only feel it on the outside.
can someone recommend a quick fix other than replacing the whole glass?
