Default New Yorkers w/ your SC's show yourselves!

Hey guys, newbie here again. Just got a few questions. To you guys with SC's in the general Tri-state region, how does this car stack up as far as icy/wintery/snowy conditions go? to be honest, my 240sx was not the most pleasing to drive in snow. Im assuming the sc will be a bit easier as its more refined. Also, to guys w/ lips/kits, how low are you riding to be clear of most obstacles out there?

the SC isnt too bad in the snow if you have REAL snow tires and take it easy on the gas. If you don't do either, its pretty awful...doesnt snow much around here anymore anyways

I am in Indiana, but can definitely comment on the snow. With all-season performance tires, the car handles pretty bad. You just have to be extemely touchy on the throttle. I can't comment on the ride with snow tires, but I would have to imagine that it would be improved a good margin.

It would have to handle very similar in snow to your 240sx. Both cars have similar weights and are rwd. With more power, the SC is probably even more difficult.

I would take my old 93 Ford Taurus in a snow race against my SC any day.

SC should be about equitable to the 240. Snow tires are a MUST to get any traction. I have all-seasons and this morning was slippy-slidey down the block. Plus my Trac is on the fritz right now. But if you drive like a normal human being and slow down BEFORE going around a curve, you'll do just fine.
