i wonder why these meets are always late. btw, they close at 1. prob would kick us out at 12. i'm down for it. lol. meet and eat right?

for some reason everyone likes going a little later and some people work til 6 or something on saturdays. we were there last time and people stayed for a good 4-5 hours. met up then had food, went to the bar and played games lolz. we stayed til 1 last time

Its 100% better when NELOC holds there own meets instead of riding the coat tails of other car club meets..The meet last night was whack and proves my point, We just need to do our own thing, and get back to basics like it used to be, 30 plus cars strong at every meet..and let the other car clubs ride our coat tails

eman88 thats cool. the meet last night was ridiculous, i agree with u on that.it was unorganized and a bad spot.
we had a meet in farmingdale last month and no one was bothered w cops. nycmaximas has also had several meets there that included over 100 cars and no cops bothered either.
i look forward to coming to an exclusive CL meet!
i dont mean to cause any trouble here,just seeing if anyone here was interested

Agree 100% with eman. Im probably gonna sit this one out and wait for a mod to setup a meet. I mean all the cars last night were cool and all but like Stylin said. Unorganized and bad location. Little awkward for me since it was my first meet haha. Next meet I will be better ha.

Amen Brotha... You guys should search and see How Lexotic Concepts holds a meet btw.. .we got one on 3/30 in NJ. You can check lexotic's new home at ISFanatics.com for details of an all lexus, all OG member meet.

Actually, I just registered on G35NYC and they feel the same way I do. The meet was over crowded and too impersonal, no one got to talk to anyone. Everyone was too frustrated with cops and ticketing, and dont like the idea of cross posting from forum to forum. I have to agree. I think you should get to know the folk in your own back yard first. You have the entire summer to have multi forum meets.

This just sends a message to the mods that a NELOC meet is needed/wanted and needs to happen soon, there are alot of new members we should get acquainted with. and with the show of force from the other car clubs just shows we need to get back in the game...

^^^ FYI fellas it doesn't take a mod to put together a quality meet. Just a little time and well thought out planning is all it takes.

You can't expect to sit back and hope things happen if you aren't contributing to getting it started. You're part of this community and have a hand in it so get a meet going

Thats true,,,very true,,it doesnt take a mod. to put together a meet, but I believe its the the mods. job/duty/desire to instill excitment, stir creativity within there prospective forums, another member stated that afew other forums dont have this distant/non-existant relationship within there forums.what signal does that send to the new comers that are here looking for that brotherhood existance...IMO those cross-club meet threads should of never showed up in our forum without us being invited from the propective clubs mod.so we dont look like a bunch of nobodys crashing a meet unannounced..It seems like we are left to our own devices.

You're def more than welcome to come to a NELOC meet no problem. There's nothing wrong with posting up other meets from other forums either, just try to post it a little earlier. This one seemed to come up a little last minute. No one thinks that you're causing any trouble once so ever. Members post up cross meets all the time. Keep doing what you're doing. This season is just starting and with it getting warmer out, you'll def see more of us.
