I just filled up this morning at the Mobil station in Elmont Long Island, and the price is now $3.93 per gallon for 93 octane Just two weeks ago, the price was $3.83 per gallon for super. Well, I will not let these gas prices hold me back from summer driving fun...... Will the escalating gas prices, potentiallly $4.00+, hinder you guys from taking those out of state jaunts via automobile ? Your thoughts..

Man I was just talking to my buddy about this today. I don't take the toy out everyday, but it guzzle's gas no matter what I do. I have a 6cylinder daily now, I'll be moving to a 4cyl daily soon. (our family car is a suv but does pretty good on gas)

well each student is limited to 2 per week. so she helps me get more if i need it but 60bucks should last me a week.

I still drive the car as much as I did before, however I've been seriously considering a motorcycle for good daily driving (at least in nice weather). Between financing it, insurance, and gas, it's still cheaper than driving the lexus that I already own outright.

I just stopped over in Danbury CT and I saw Sunoko had 93 octane for $4.19

The gas station down the block just rised to 3.89 for 93 octane...Stopped by NJ last weekend and it was 3.33 for 93 huge difference...Makes me wanna switch over to a 4 cyclinder...

As of yesterday, gas at the same Mobil station I fill up at is now $3.99 per gallon for 93.. The Shell station down the block from the Mobil is $4.19 per gallon.... Yikes!!!!

It will not stop me. I have been waiting for spring for a while. Thank god I make enough. I truly love driving and really look forward to road trips.
I don't drive to work, I take subway, so one tank a week-end is all I need really.

I did start biking again, but thats for getting into shape!

But I think , if more people made every drive more productive, doing all the chores in one shot, it would offset the hike in price.

I dont drive much as is.... but now I will just be more selective. I have resorted to buying store brand foods to make ends meet, like KRASDALE Macaroni and Cheese 3/$1.00
