Another annual meet is in the works but I'm procrastination a bit and the weather is still a bit too cold..I don't know having many vendors donating parts and services this year because of the current state of the economy but I'll try to get something..Getting a permit and organizing an event takes a lot of time and money...Last year, there were a lot of expenses which the donation money absorbed a bit..And hopefully we'll have a good stream of volunteers like we did last year..But yeah, its in the works, just give it a little more time..
we dont necessarily need vendors donating parts...we just need something like last year where ppl brought food and we just bbq-ed and had a fun time. if u need any help, lmk Dennis.
This was a very successful venture for 08 and I am sure that you guys will do just as well for 09. With the current state of things, just means that everyone has to tighten up a bit and help out a little more. Hopefully my car will be in better "travel mode" and I will be able to attend, if invited. Bottom line, a small group(under 10) let alone 1 person cannot shoulder the bruden of this event by themselves. No shame in asking for help. that is what everyone is here for as well as to have fun.
