Ok guys...There are two parts to this event.. Part 1 of this event will take place on 10/15/08 at BMW of Bayside & 10/16/08 at Rallye BMW.. Part 2 which consists of the autocross and mini driving school TBA..

sign in for part 1 is now 9/9/08. I woul like for us to do this at Rallye BMW becasue they have the largest facility/parking lot. You can sign up here on or after 9/9/08..

Correct! I am attending the event at Rallye because the 7 mile driving route would be ideal since the roads are more wide open and smoother on the Island.. (Yup.. 7 miles of driving the cars of your choice)

Guys this is part one of the driving event.. Part two will be at a later date and will include a closed road course with professional BMW drivers.. Stay tuned.. Och.. you experienced part 2 of the event last year..

Can someone clarify something for me?

I just registered for 10/11 BMW of Manhattan event.... All they gave me is the date, but no specific time. Also, they are not giving me a location - obviously I can search for BMW of Manhattan on the internet, but is it right there at the dealer?

Yes it will begin at the dealership which is on
57th st. & 11th Ave., more specifically 555 W 57th St, New York, NY. You can bring your wife and or guest. It is a glass sky scraper below that can't be missed. Since a limited number of folks are interested(1 OR 2), I don't see the need for a caravan.. We can meet at the facility as I will be there.. What time are you scheduled for Och?

You must of registered late.. Just show up to the event on 10/11 between 8:30 a.m. & 6 p.m. & the event folks will let you drive any available vehicle.... (Your e-mail message from BMW should reflect what I just mentioned).. You will not be turned back.. The welcomed you with open arms last year remember w/o registering remember?

LOL, they sent me a confirmation e-mail that im scheduled for 12AM!!!

I assume they mean 12PM? In any case, I was planning to show up later in the afternoon around 3-4pm. Hopefully they wont turn me away.

Last year they welcome me, but they threw me and a buddy of mine out for not sticking to their course.
