Hey, I'm new to the forum. Just got my lexus. Awesome car but I gotta change the timing belt (first year with interference engine ) and after some research I figured I can't really do it myself. Can anyone please recommend a decent shop that is familiar with ls400s and can change the timing belt in a short amount of time? Really don't wanna pay 2 grand for it.

Purchase the parts for the service from one of our CL vendors (Sewell lexus or Carson Toyota) to save yourself some cash from what NYC dealers would charge for the same parts. You can get the work done for a good price by the brother of local CL member "Aliga". He has done work on many members cars including the service you seek. Just pm him for more info.. Good luck..
