excellent ALIGNMENT places in NYC
Hey guys, I am looking for a place that does alignments correctly. Recently had my 2nd car done at 106th TIRE and I believe their technique is way off or they just don't know how to properly execute wheel aligments.
The 1st car I had done, I started experiencing tramlining however due to the mileage on the car, I assumed the bushings were going bad. However, 2nd car, went back and AGAIN with the tramlining. However the bushings on this car have been replaced altogether.
The steps to align a car are camber, caster and toe-in, in that order as one effects the other in the same order. So, I need a good alignment place to rid me of the tramlining experience. Any suggestions/recommendations?!

I would not let 106 Tire perform an alignment or tire balance on my 1:18 scale model cars. I speak from my experience. If you want an alignment done right the first time regardless if your ride is equipped with coilovers, lowering springs, stock, get the alignment done at Lexus of Rockville Centre. Price.... $149.00 and it is well worth it. Give us your feedback with whom ever you decide to go with...

The did an outstanding 4-wheel alignment on the Supra for me. Very fair prices and great knowledgeable staff.
They have the sickest alignment machine I have ever seen (And I have been into cars almost 20yrs!)
They align for daily driving, road race, 1/4 mile, Drift, twisty roads majority driving, you name it... this machine was absolutely insane.

I dont think I asked for anthing custom... My car is lowered with no major changes. There is a process when doing an alignment and I don't believe they follow it. I think they just look to make sure the green on the screen is lit. lol!

There is an ASE certification & training program required to master the use of the Hunter Hawk eye alignment machine.. Heck, the guys at 106 tire that perform the alignments are not ASE certified! Ask them a question and you get a "huh?" response. Hell, they speak no English at all..
This alignment machine below requires technical skills to master..
My Gs400 is lowered on Bilstein PSS coils & the ride, handeling, stance, is much more composed due to proper alignment. Good luck with your choice in shop..

I've been to him a couple times. He specialize in alignments.
I think he charges $40? correct me if I'm wrong.
