Default Exhaust hole repair tips or recommendation?

About 3 weeks ago I hit a nasty pothole with 3 passengers in the back of my IS300 in Jamaica Queens and heard a nasty scrape. I went out to check the car but didn't see anything until yesterday, it's hole/crack in my carson tuned exhaust! Can this be repaired? If yes, any recommendations on where I should go?

The hole can possibly be soldered by most muffler shops like a Meineke or the many shops at shea stadium if you do not wish to replace it..

looks like a easy fix...don't pay more than 40 bucks for that weld...especially at meinekee they will try to rape you...

the right way to do it is to have the shop pull the dent out and then weld it close.
the quick way is it just weld it shut.

the muffler looks like it's stainless steel so it'll cost you a little more to repair. your local muffler shops are usually set up for mild steel (MIG) welding. and no...you don't want a mild steel slag on a stainless steel part.
