Default Good Shop/Mechanic for a 2GS in Tristate

Have a few issues with my GS400 and wanted to find the reason for a clunk I can't figure out from front right corner at low speed. Balljoints/Control Arms/Tierods have no play, and honestly I think this car got Daizen Poly stuff a while back (bushing in Control Arm 2 doesn't look original, has firm ride, and has rear plate frame from them). Gas mileage is garbage though (15-17mpg) and I do have a low idle issue even after cleaning MAF/TB.

Can anyone recommend a decent mechanic or shop to go to? I know if I go to a local dealer I'll get charged big money, Toyota dealer near me wanted $140 for a diagnostic. Seems like the mechanics I go to don't have much experience with these cars too.
