ahhh almost forgot. Thank you for pointing that out. I'm already washed, swabbed, de-odorized and ready to go!

Larry: I swear it wasn't the Torque converter that did it for Cannan. it was the shaved head for aerodynamics that shaved the 1 second off the 1/4 ET.

haha larry...thanks for the kind words...9? haha ... yeah! only you understand me

yeah...i watched your 2nd run and WOW...that old school american car had no chance against you!

Dennis: i need wider tires? nah...i just need to abuse my clutch more...i think i was trying to baby it still...bleh

it was nice meeting you guys. i'm glad you guys were actually nice to the non lexus people. i'll definitely be there at the next CL meet.

Hey guys, it was a great meet with all of you guys, and can you believe we finally pulled it off with no rain this time?? (for those of you guys who don't quite remember me, I'm the one with my black ES). I loved the drives on the LIE, and onto the curvy, smooth and open Eastport Manor Rd. to LI Motorsports track. Though I abhorred the ridiculous waits in between runs on the track (only had 2 runs myself), it was rather fun checking out, talking about, and taking pictures of each other's cars, as well as the insane muscle cars. On the way back, Ravie and I got caught up with Mike and his GS along the LIE. It was too bad that he couldn't make it to the meet, but we know for sure that he's working on something bigger and better for all of us hopefully for the next meet

I took about 15 or so pictures that day, but I'll try to resize and crop some of them tonight, and hopefully post them up afterwards.

Oh, one thing for sure about my time(s)... I'm glad I did 0.2 sec better than the factory tested/expected quarter-mile time for my ES!

-Doug

on a more serious note...

Here are their attended members and their messages
99 Eclipse GSX - Henry
02 WRX - Steve
02 323i - Dave
98 S70 - Jae
92 SC400 - Dennis

We would like to thank you for inviting us to Club Lexus track day. Glad to have met all of you. Like to thank the orgnizers and hope to join you guys for the next track day. We are planning another track day and would like to have you guys join us. We are moving servers for our website. When it does we'll have Dennis send a link here for events and gatherings. Click on my homepage below for the temporary site.
It was a great pleasure meeting everyone that Dennis sometimes skips our meetings for. We hope to see you again.

NRG Racing is a local car club that is a bunch of guys that like modding/racing their cars and basically enjoy cars. We do not condone street racing and believe that the racing whould be kept on the track.

Again, thank you all.

I saw you guys when I was going back...I was going to pull over but I was in the middle lane going 65mph...Couldn't slow down in time...

Anyways...I'm very disappointed in my 2 runs....16.3 and 16.5

With over 90k under the hood I think its time for a tune up...and torque converter upgrade...

It was a great meet.. Glad to have seen all of you guys again! looking forward to the next meet...

Just wanted to say it was great meeting all of you, Thanks Dennis
I had really good time , wish i would of been able to do some more runs, i only got two in.
my best run was a 16.1, but i couldn't get the light down, i lost more than a second each run at the start ..
I guess it's not that bad for my first time.
I look forward to the next meeting with you guys. If anyone has videos or pics can you send me them, thanks
I hope to see you guys soon
It was fun
