Yup. I remember standing near my car when either you or Steve walked over holding one. My first thought was that it was the dipstick. Really ! It wasn't until I saw you eating it that I realized what it was.
BTW, your car really looks Great ! You have it set up perfectly. What was your time on the track ? I know you said you needed a tune up.....

Hi Guys,
Thanks angleslex for the compliment, i like it looking new, and i do believe that there is no reason why a vehicle can't look better than new 5 ,10 after new. I am very happy with my time at the track.1st run, 15.754 ,I was admiring canaan's car move up the track instead of flooring it. R/T 1.8 i think , the sheet is creased through this line.2nd run,15.250, R/T 1.035, two previous runs were run with traction control on, and a idle trottle speed of 4000 RPM. I had turned my A/C off.bad idea.My last run was a very respectable 14.703,R/T .989 still with idel speed at 4000 RPM but with traction control off. All this from a 98 gs400 with 91,000 miles and K&N drop in air filter and SS borlas. I dont think high 13s is out of the question, better R/T , A/C on which would bring my idle speed to 7000 RPM andreset the ECU, i honestly do think high 13s is attainable. What do you guys think.
Clive

I have been dying to go to a meet with a whole bunch of modded GS's. No chance of that happening in Canada - I only know of one other guy who has modded his GS slightly up here.
I will do a vacation thing with the family if you guys can make it to Niagara Falls. There are some very scenic routes on the Canadian side where we can take lots of pics. June is better than July as it gets a tad warmer in July.
Let me know if I can help with anything ................

Hey, if some people are down I'll leave the family behind and takeoff for the weekend.. I'll tell wifey I'm just checking everything out so I know where to go when I take the Fam... If we can gather a few members then maybe we can do this....

Theres some nice cruising on the way down to Mohegan Sun, that may also be an idea! Also, I dont think it would be a bad thing to incorporate the ladies in this event, maybe go to dinner or something! (I'm under the doghouse with my girl, so I gotta do creative things to get on the porch at least!!!) It will also allow most of the married guys here to maintian hearing in BOTH ears, i.e., no nagging!
