Default I bought a grille, but...

... it's not quite the one I was looking for. The $18 grille I got is a Sunbeam, has 300 square inches of cooking space, and is portable so that you have to prop it on a picnic table or similar to cook. It looks like a broiler and toaster oven combined. I think most here can agree that we need a grille that's mobile with wheels and such, but there was none around that's the right size. I guess that's my only complaint. Other than that, I think the grille might be suitable for us to use at the meet, unless anyone here has any objections ?? I can always return it back.

No problem Dennis, I was kinda worried that they would run out of grilles since summer is really here to stay So you're all set with the grilling utensils, charcoal and lighter fluid? How about a wire brush to clean the grille? If you don't have it, that's fine; let me know and I'll pick one up.

Bring the brush. If one forgets, the other one will have it

Default Weather on Sunday??

It has remained nice and sunny for the Sunday forecast of Bear Mtn, NY, but now it calls for a slight chance of t-storms, but still partly cloudy and sunny. Canaan, can we get some confirmation in this? I'm still hopeful we'll get great weather that day...

I heard today partly cloudy with a high of 81. The chance of a T-Storm I think are slim to none.

Tricky forecast for Sunday now. Last night the models had steady light rain coming in around noon time, but today one model backed off, while another still forecasts scattered rain showers but very light, less than .10 Bottom line for Sunday, partly cloudy to start the day, mostly cloudy by afternoon and chance of an afternoon shower/t-storm, prob of precip (POP) around 30%. Temps should be around 80 depending on how much sun the area gets. I wouldn't worry about the rain as of right now. If things look more ominous, I'll be sure to post and give everyone a heads up.

Default PA fellas

To Angel, PAULGS and 2001HiTech, are you guys all set for directions for the Sunday drive? It looks like you probably have the longest drive out of all to the recreation area. Maybe you guys might catch up with the NJ people on the way. NJ Pike is stupid sometimes because everyone slows down for no reason at unexpected times, so you guys might want to think about leaving PA early...

Guess what? I had my weekends wrong. No wedding to go to. I am definetely going to try to make it. If I'm able, I will bring anything I can think of(soda, food items). I hope I don't feel weird, being around so many modded cars, and mine is all stock.

Btw, can anyone PM me their cell phone # in case I get lost or show up late? Anything can happen since I will be coming from Brooklyn.

SC300, NY

Thanks,

Ed

To people who were questioning about us coming from PA ... honestly, I have no idea where I am going I really wanted to meet up with someone so that I don't get lost by myself and I can get someone else lost with me, but it isn't looking good ... but regardless, we are still coming Who knows if my car will even make it that far ?!? hehe, I am pretty damn excited to meet some Lexus people.

As for people worried about being stock ... don't worry about it ... my car is also nearly stock

This is the way I am apparently going ... anyone want to meet up with me anywhere along the way ?

I will be leaving at 8:30am so I might be a little late.
