I was very impressed at the meet today. 350 and s2k clubs were there all showing their cars. I just stood there and visioned a Lexus crew there. We should really all get together and show our cars. I was the only lexus there today and got a good amount of love. Imagine a group of lexus cars together, that's mad love.

I did see you zip by on 50 again when I was pumping gas.

I'm not really a show car fan. I would rather see cars move than sit around and shiny.

Anyone up for hitting the 1/4 mile? We have one in each corner of MD I think.

u must be jeffs gf. just a guess cause he told me his gf has a gs4 ive been on the board for a while now and i dont think there has been a GS meet in the DC metro area... seems to be hard to get going.. i KNOW there r lots here cause everytime i go to SRT i c many GS's from the area. but never a meet. there r lots of IS meets! not sure whats up with the GS owners!!!

Yup, that would be me, Jeff's girlfriend/fiance. Nice to meet you by the way, my name's Yolanda. It would be fun to get a group of GS's together but it would also be nice to have any Lexus cars all meet up.

Seems like every car club is strong but the Lexus car club. I'm dissapointed. My fiance has so much fun with his s2000 crew. Any ideas?

It is a shame that the area doesn't have an active Lexus community. Here we have Chantilly, Southern Md, and Harrisonburg. Any common ground to meet and say hello? Me, althought MRI is close, the traffic is often nuts there and besides, my quarter mile days are over. Damn did my Chevys ran quick... Now I'm just a Toyota family. 1 SC, 1 GS, and my trusty 4-Runner. So now for ideas since we started a grass roots effort?

And don't forget about Alexandria. Geez, I almost went out to Chantilly last weekend just to see what that was all about. I started cleaning my car on Sunday morning (the day of the event) and just finished it today! Since I'm such a slow detailer, I guess I need a little more that 12 hours notice.

I would be willing to meet. I am not really a Toyota fan, anymore. I have an SC400, a Turbo M3, and another M3. So, I'm leaning more towards the BMW family right now. It's hard to justify a Lexus when you look at vehicles in the 55-65K range, you start treading on E500, C32 AMG, SLK 32 AMG, E39 M5, E46 M3 territory for comparable luxury cars.

If you know anyone that is looking for a used SC400 for around $12.8K -- have them contact me.
