thanks for the reminder Doug! I meant to post this before, but i forgot. (really new to this meet thing! you should me with my legal pad and cl handles with checks and X's LOL!!)
Does Sunday at 1-2:00pm sound cool? (want to leave room for travel time)
Anyway here is a link to directions for the beach and as a fallback, Dave and Busters on superpages, leave the destination blank and just type in your starting point. I could really use RI-GS4 to help me out with a meeting place or landmark, it was his idea to push this meet out there. Now I cant catch up with him! I'ma kill you James

I really messed up guys.. tonight in hartford, not only do we have opening day at renchler field for Uconn football, but we got dave mathews, and THE FUNKMASTER FLEX CAR SHOW tonight, I really f-ed up not mentioning that eh? The thought didn't cross my mind till about an hour ago. Anyway, Igotta work tomorow, triple time thanks to the holiday, no callin out for me, so i don't think I'm gonna make it, that and i'm goin to dave mathews after that with a TRUNK fULL of beer to tailgate, but if you guys will be around after like 7 or so in the area, let mek now, I'll meet you up, Derrick, I'll call you around noon, have fun

Misquamicut beach info
Some general info of Misquamicut State Beach
Here's the breakdown:
- Location is 257 Atlantic Ave., Westerly, RI.
- Resident parking = $7.00 per car
- Non-resident parking = $14.00 per car
- You will be given a trash bag to carry with you as there are NO trash receptacles on the beach.
Where exactly will all of us be meeting when we get to Westerly RI? I think it'd be nice if there is a picnic area, gas station or turnout point on the way to the beach. Do we have a plan of some sort at the beach area? I like the idea of cruising, eating and checking out the boardwalk. On the map, I see there's a nice 12-mile scenic drive along Rte. 1 north straight from the beach if we choose to go up to Providence. I'm down for whatever's there, it's the end of the summer man
I'll bring CL stickers for those who didn't get them at the last meet

Well, a meet did happen today...
... despite a turnout of 3 people (myself, DGOT20s, RI-GS4). Where were the rest of you? 
You couldn't have asked for better weather the day before Labor Day, and having a meet right near the beach was an excellent idea.
With just the 3 of us (plus DGOT20s' gf and daughter), we still had fun, chatted about our cars and whatever, had some decent seafood chow, and took a walk along the RI waters
Derrick man, we finally met (after your previous troubles with the tranny), and it was very cool to share certain insights with you James, nice to see you and the GS4 again after the Hartford meet. After having had back-to-back meets in CT and RI, I promise that we'll try to organize one down in NYC sometime before the end of this year!
