****Attention MA, RI, CT, NY Residents, Labor Day Wknd Meet In RI*******
This was originally proposed by Pete (sxylxy) but it kinda died down. I would like to see if we could rekindle the flame.
Misqumicut Beach is located in Westerly RI, and has a great strip to cruise as well as a boardwalk for food shopping, etc. Since most of us have off work on Monday, I would like to proppose a meet here on Saturday or Sunday based on everyones availibility.
MA residents- 45-1hr drive
RI residents- 10-15 min drive
CT residents- 40-1hr drive
NY residents- 2.5hr drive- goes by alot quicker than you think.
As a supplemental plan in case of rain we could:
A. Go to Dave and Busters Restaraunt in Providence, RI (20mins from Beach)- this restaurant has arcade games, and mini pool tables. They serve basic American cuisine, Burgers, Sandwiches, Steak, Seafood.
15-20 bucks a plate on average
B. Go to Indoor go-kart track in Connecticut 15 bucks per race.
Since the summer is coming to a close, I would really like to get the crew together one more time before it gets cold (did anyone else notice how chilly it got on Sat/Sun night this past weekend?)

Well I'm def in I guess... they're sayin mix or sun and clouds, it wont rain till sunday, sat during the day will be nice, and we could top the night off with the legendary street races in hartford everyone has heard so mch about, right jbbnet? Sypher, all you NY guys, I know your in right?

i would love to go.... but unfortunately, im in nyc for the next few weeks.... and on top of that, my car was recently vandalized... smashed window, ripped leather seats, and the entire car was keyed... so yeah, my car is in the body shop gettin a new window, new paint job, and 2 tone leather...

Derrick: I am busy on Saturday, but Sunday should work out for me if nothing else comes up. I'll contact a few other CLers from CT. The beach and D&B's sound awesome. Most of the college peeps will be back too.

D saturday I have an appt with Lexus of Watertown on my "possible" purchase of an IS300. Sunday I have a baby shower to go to with my g/f. Let me know what time and I'll see if I can make it. I'd love to show up

My vote's for sat, it's supposed to be nicer in the afternoon sat then sun, and if it is sunday, I may not be able to go (work). But I'm glad to see one hot, and next level coupe wil be there. Let us know wat'sup derrick.

D you know I can't make it unfortunately my brakes are metal on metal and I cannot drive too far with them the way they are. But eventually I will meet all of you guys, hope you have fun.
