Help!!! Looking for performance shop on Long Island, NY
Greetings Lex Family,
I'm searching for a recommended shop between Queens,NY & Long Island,NY that can
handle the installations below
I have 99 GS300 with no mods yet because I can't find a good performance mechanic
Between Long Island & Queens. I would sure appreciate any recommendations you give.
Here are a list of parts I want to purchase next (10/08) week and have installed.
**Precision upgrade Torque converter.
**A set of 18" Katana Destiny rims (Hyper-Black) probably a packaged deal from Wheelmax
**L-sportline performance shocks and springs
**Borla exhaust system.
Ps..what do you think of the mods for a beginner

hey, my mechanic can do all that for you. He does his work at home but does a great job on all his work. He changed my clutch and full engine tune up, did my friend's downpipe/coilovers rebuilt his own engine (supra single turbo). He's young but he def knows his stuff. The only thing is that i don't even know if he has time to fix your car. I'll ask him if you'd like. He lives by glen cove road by exit 39.

Thanks for the info Mr Shabo. Can you find out what he charges for labor i'll
supply the parts. I was interested in the Borla exhaust because I understand
it gives a nice low profile rumble is there another exhaust out there that provides
a low rumble and extra horsepower without all the noise.
Ps... Where are you located i'm on Long Island

Mr Shabo do you have any thoughts on this combo Bilstein Sport Shocks & H&R Sport Springs. If my reseach is correct i should be able to get about a 1 1/4 " drop in the front and 1 1/3" drop in
the rear as for the handling and comfort does it come close or the same as the L-Tuned springs & shocks.
