If you aren't going to bring it to a dealership, bring it to them. Ask for a quote with Lexus OEM parts.

Trying to find the best deal/quality. Money's a bit short at the moment and taking it to a dealer seems like that would cost the most. Should I be taking it to one? Do you have a dealer to reccommend?

well.... If I had the funds, I would bring it to the dealership... but since I don't, I just bring it to my tranny guy. He used to work at Lexus and I trust their work 100%

So I guess that they worked on the transmission in your Lexus? If so, how much did it set you back?

I'm still under warranty, at least for the next 7 weeks. Up till now I have had all tranny work performed at the dealer including warranty busting mods. Once the warranty is up I will be looking elsewhere for most work, though. So if you find a good tranny guy let us all know.
