Can you Fix a small crack in a Rim, Where?
Hello There,
I've got a question for all of you......my dad recently took his 993 Porsche w/ 18" Antera Rims to "Wheel Works" because the driver's side Rear Tire kept getting low on air.
They told him that there is a small crack in the rim (you can't see it from the side) and that his rim's model is discontinued. Being that Antera (I don't know if that is spelled right) Rims aren't cheap he wants to see if there is a way to fix the problem in the rim's (sand/fill/refine) small crack.
Here is the main question::
Do any of you guys know a place that will do this? If so, where and do you have any idea how much it would cost?
Thanks,
-Jason
(not the best picture but those are the rims)

go to wheel techniques in santa clara, ask for jeff, and tell him henry with the blue lexus gs400 refers you. they are pretty amazing in reparing wheels. not sure if they can repair that but worth a try

btw jason they can fix most any kind of damages to the wheels. i've seen them do stuff where chunk of metal was missing on a rim and they welded a new piece and made it look new
