hey guys, anyone knows where i can find a body shop that would paint my front lip for a reasonable $
all day i went around, and they kept telling me that i won't paint it because it sits too low and is vulnerable to cracks, and the place that will paint it, charges over $300.. that's insane for a lip.....let me know guys ..

I just dropped of my Explosion 3 pc wing to Saldivar's Auto Body in Sac. They should have it done by Monday and I'll be able to recommend them or NOT when they're finished with this job. Actually, this will determine whether or not they get my business for the rest of my kit when it arrives. =)
Anybody know of any good tint shops in this area? Don't want to have to go all the way down to the bay for a tint job but will end up doing so if there are no recommendations for shops up here.

I would suggest going to Monroy's Auto Body Shop.-

They do great work for us when ever we need anything painted. They also do a lot of insurence jobs and jobs for dealers. For us they have been good. And Were going to have them paint our IS300 and kit.
Tell them Igor from CA`Tuned sent you and talk to the owner- Enrique

They usually do. But I never had a problem. Im preety sure that they have too. Since they do work for ins. and dealers.. I would call them tommorow, they open real early and get a price.. Or it would be better to come by there. You and talk to Enrique in person/ He's the owner..

I forgot some info on Saldivar's. They're charging $150 to paint the wing and $60 to install it. I took it for a test fit today and talked to him about their warranty, and just generally body work in general. They're pretty knowledgeable about urethanes, FRPs, plastics, etc. They do warranty their work but for aftermarket stuff they have to inspect the parts for their quality, etc. So I'll see how this first piece works out. Now I know of another alternative if I need it.

TINT---There is also another tint shop in that same Business park/Shop..
So if Uriy does not work out. I have used the other guys and they are not as cheap but do quality work as well. They are closer to the road where Uriy's shop is kinda hidden.

I only have one. So first come first serve. I got it from one of our reps but I know none of my guys or my self are able to go, so hence.. No charge.. complimentary. You have to pay for your own room, and flight, etc..

Thanks for the info. I was able to get an appt. with them Sat. a.m. You're right...good, clean, quality job and they were pretty quick and inexpensive. FWIW, I also found out that the other tint shop in that complex offers detailing services if anyone is interested. I DID NOT try them so I can't say anything about the quality. Just passing along the info.
