They are telling us because the car is too higly modified.

Car has a big brake upgrade from ROTORA.. Among other.. It's just crap.
They should replace it. Because, I think it burned out due to other reasons and not becuase of an upgrade to the car. And it's not like we have a stage 3 turbo. or like we took apart the electrical.

They took 2 min. to look at it and gave us there speal..

We will see. I am trying to work with them. Any ideas let me know!

tell them to PROVE you that your mods cause the error. there is a law stating that unless they can prove that your aftermarket parts cause the damage, they have to honor the warranty

Were going to fight it. We will see. With the SAFC spliced in, the Alarm, and all the aftermarket parts..
They just could not beleive what we did to it. One manager went so far as to say we ruined a perfectly normal car and turned it into Sh*..

Well we have a meeting setup with them and hopefully will get somewhere. Take lot's of pictures, any one going to Video tape?

I have studio connections. Meybe if there is enought footage/video I can get a dvd made. Any one interested let me know. Or we can discuss it. It would not cost a thing. They owe me big.

yeah good luck man. i just don't see how what you did could seriously kill the computer. oh and while you are at it, take down the name of the manager, if he asks why, tell him you have a call to lexus corporate some time

Thanks! I just had a thought. How would they like it, if like 20 or 40 or like a 100 Lexus tuned cars rolled by there... That would be preety funy.

I was able to find a used one for $650.00 if they don't budge..

Then I will have to get lawers to sue.. What a hastle..

is this lexus of sacramento or the one in roseville?
i had ****ty service at the sacramento one when i can in for my navi issue. they told me they needed to charge me for to check it out and to replace the nav computer and it wouldn't be cover under warrenty. they have such poor service. they told i can go back to steven creek lexus. they are such crappy people at lexus of sacramento. i don't ever recommend going there at all. so i had to drive all the way back to steven creek lexus in the bay, and w/out questions, they check it out and replace my nav comp and gave me a detail on top of that. it seems like if it is a penske owned lexus dealer in cali, they take better care of you.

This would actully be Lexus dealer in The Automall- Roseville.

The Main service manager is just reluctant. And since he wont give the ok, then other tech's won't touch it.

But I'm going to try other places. Problem is, I can't even drive the car, so it has to be towed.

Tow jobs are expensive. Even with my hook ups. But we will se what happens tommorow at our meeting.

Double check on the dogs. Some "state" park does not allow dogs.. Oh well, I wish I could bring my dog too... but she is still recovering from the torn ACL.... plus my IS is small and my dog is big....

In regards to the burn computer, you should call the Lexus Corporate Customer support to complaint. I did it last time and they hook me up to fix the leverage of the door handle.. (since one of the dealer "bs" my tinted window caused the problem)
