So in your case, it wasn't like you read this thread and didn't respond, and I suppose for some of the other lurkers, this situation may be true as well.
CL doesn't have enough sophistication to tell me if somone has read this thread, so I have to assume people read it if they visit the NorCal forum.
Funny how people are selective about which posts they read, especially when they skip the ones at the very top of the page !
Chalk it up to Human Nature I guess.

We are having our first committee meeting with Stevens Creek Lexus this coming Friday.
All the planning and preparation takes weeks to accomplish, so if you look back at past meets, you will see that I often announce activities and raffle prizes, etc. as the meet date draws near. I don't do that on purpose, just to keep you guys in suspense.
I do it because that's when we figured out what was going to happen !
One example is that I usually get some raffle items donated only a few days before the meet. For the Beginning of Summer Meet, we had items donated by surprise the morning of the meet !
We will always try something interesting and different and for sure we always try to make it better each year.
One thing I will leak out, is that we want to have a video TEAM to interview the owners and describe and show the mods on their rides. It will all be put together on a DVD and released along with other meet action. People should get their rides cleaned up, dress decent and be prepared to get interviewed on video!
I probably won't have a lot of detailed information to pass out until about 4 to 5 weeks before the meet.

those will NOT happen for sure
we are still trying to figure out some new stuff for the meet this yr. it's not going to be easy, but our (well at least mine) goal is to make the meet as family welcome as possible
