Default Bay Area Shop to Install and Tune S-AFC2?

Hey Guys,

Glen or others in the bay area: Can you refer me to a good place to have my s-afc2 installed and dyno tuned?

Thanks,

Jeff

That's the one I was trying to remember. Sweet!
I just moved to Pleasanton recently and work out there...nice and convenient.

Thanks for the info.

Yup, I would recommend Dyno Labs as well. I've been there 3 times now to put my car on the dyno. I'll be back there again next Saturday (8/7) for what will hopefully be my final dyno tuning session to finally get some numbers on my car.

Yes they can. They're a full service shop that also has a Dynojet. Their labor rate is $85/hour. Their website is: http://www.dynolabs.net.

You can also go down to Milpitas to Exact Motorsports to get the SAFC installed, then go to Dyno Labs for the tuning. That's what I've been doing for my stuff. Exact's rate is $80/hour.

That sounds like a plan...I've still got my Exact service gift certificate from the previous EOS meet raffle

Didn't realize that Exact can do the install. I'll give Sandy a call and get on John's schedule. Maybe sometime next weekend. If anyone else is heading that way, maybe we can set up a mini meet

Thanks again.

You're welcome to stop by Exact this weekend on Saturday morning. I'll be there as well as scottchoe and someone else. I usually post when I'll be at Exact (if you didn't notice my other threads). However, I'll be at Dyno Labs next weekend. What kind of car do you have BTW?

My day is crazy this Saturday (and besides, I'm still waiting for the S-AFC to arrive ), so it will probably be next Saturday. Maybe I can do Exact and DynoLabs in the same day. Will have to make some calls...not sure how quickly DynoLabs fills up or what John's schedule is. I'll post up when I've got something scheduled in.

Oh yeah, I drive an 01 SBM IS.

So YOU'RE the one who didn't use their raffle prize gift certificate !

I talked to Sandy about that a while ago. Now we know.

Brian, that $100 raffle item could of been yours !

I'll try to stop by this Sat. to talk BUSINESS with Sandy.

With all the business you guys are giving them, I need to hit Sandy & John up for some Big $$$ for their EOS raffle donation.

Dyno Labs has been very busy on the weekends for the past couple months. It's best to continually call them until you reach the owner, Ray. He's always away from the phone and is so busy it takes him awhile to call back. I just everyday, a couple times a day until I reach him. I've been lucky early in the morning, around lunch time, and early evening just before he closes.

Ya, I know. I didn't find out about the EOS last year until it was too late.

Hope to see you there Glen, but I might not be able to stick around long because I have other engagements Saturday.

I spoke to John briefly and he mentioned that things have seemed to slow down with ClubLexus members going to his shop. He said that I've probably been the most frequent Lexus customer of late. They should start giving me a discount for how much I've spent with them in the last month or so.
