I want to be like Glen someday too.
For the time being, I'll just tell myself that those 20s HRE won't fit on my IS300 anyway. Maybe that'll make me feel better.
Can't wait to see what your car will be like after all those new mods you have planned, Glen.

Update Update Update
Well, now that my old tires & rims are sold, I started browsing for tires. Do remember that the whole justification for this upgrade was based heavily on increasing traction = better handling = faster 0 to 60.
That said, I have my heart set on the Michelin Pilot Sport 2 tires. It's been a long time since I've seen a tire reviewed so well, that it beats most other brands hands down. Even the famous SO3 can't touch this.
I think we can thank ongoing Formula One Development for the consumers benefitting in improved street tire Technology.
With that said, there is only one brand of choice and only one tire size of choice.
Front 255/30-20
Rear 295/25-20
Also note that the diameter of these tires is the same as a 19" 285/30-19 that many people use and what I have used as well.
Well with these new sizes available I can have my cake and eat it too. I get the bump of the DUB look, without sacrificing the oversize diameter of previously offered tire sizes in 20".
No speedometer offset and I get a lower overall ride height & center of gravity than other cars riding on 20's, while at the same time I don't have to slam the car as much which would make the car more prone to rubbing, especially in the front fender wells.
How much of a difference would I say this makes? Well the difference in overall tire diameter between current DUB set ups and the tire set up I'm shooting for is a whopping ONE FULL INCH smaller in diameter than the standard 285/35-20 that was available until now.
That's quite a bit in my book.
OK so here's the bad news.
I browsed tirerack the other day and they have the tire sizes listed in their lineup, so I called for availability and they said the rear tire is in stock , but the front tire is not yet released and won't be available for 3 months !
Now that sucks !
I can take my sweet time ordering rims form HRE. Iforged or even JDM, cause the tires look like they'll be the last to arrive.
Don't know what to say, except it looks like my car will not be driveable for 3 months.
All I have on the car now in the front are two supra TT spacesaver tires to clear the BIG AP racing brakes and the rears are 2 stock 17" GS rims.
No way am I gonna be caught dead driving down the street in that combination !
