Henry,
I think the Pirelli PZero Nero's are a very good bang for the buck. They are not the best, but they do very good for most people. I am very happy with the handling of my wifes IS with these tires.

I don't drive my car very often or very far, so I can justify the expense, since the PS2's will last me a couple of years easy, depending how much I will drag race the car this coming year.

that's any excellent point glen. since i drive my car every day, we are talking about new tires almost about once a yr, so i gotta be careful on the expense

Damn, I have been missing out on Current Events...

Glen: HRE would make more sense for you. Did you decide on a rim yet? I apologize, I just dont have the time to read all these pages. See you this weekend.

Hey Glen, you seem to be all set on the technical aspect of your choices! One relative simple thing to remember, since the finish that you choose will be about 6-8 weeks (not counting any other custom things you may specify). With that being said it will be very close to the arrival of the tires as well, (if Tireack honors the timeline they quoted you).

if you go 255 up front, please but a 9" wheel on it! (I hate the look of a 255 on a 8.5) LOL

Good luck

I'm getting about 18 months out of each set due to the odd wear. The PS2's are going to cost me an arm/leg - hope they last a little longer.

i'm very suprised that my PZero has last me this long, i have the tires for about a year now with about 20,000 miles on them and my fronts are in great shape 80% thread left and the rears are about 65% left. don't know exactly what everyone else is getting out of their tires, but i think 20,000 and another 20,000 plus miles out of these tires are great, helps save me some $$$
