Well, another year has passed us w/ an onslaught of rain this past winter.

We may need to have another SF Cruise Meet like we did last March '04.

The weather will be geeting better now and hopefully we can start this year to a great start.

Maybe we can have a SF Cruise Meet (version 2) this upcoming March '05 to Twin Peaks?

Just a thought and I really need to get the drop top out asap.

imho, before the eos3 video is fully done, probably not a good idea to prepare another one?

 

sure, I understand that the eos video is being worked on at the moment.

We don't necessarily need to provide any video footage for this SF Cruise Meet 2.

no, no. Don't shoot any footage this time around. Just have the same route like last time and meet up at Twin Peaks.

This time, the folks who were shooting the video can join along the ride instead of doing all the filming.

they did a terrific job last year and I hate to see them bust their butts again.

Some of the following points of interest below:

East Bay/NorBay gathering to South Bay, then proceeding on to:
- Santa Cruz OR
- Half Moon Bay OR
- Monterey OR
- South Bay gathering, proceeding thru San Mateo Bridge and ending up at Twin Peaks (joinged by East/North Bay) like last year's route

I really don't know, just throwing some ideas out there.
I'm not much of an organizer, but I'll do what I can to help out w/ others in South Bay if need be.

just a thought but maybe there'll be future meets later.

oh if it's all just a team cruise i think it's going to be fun. maybe down the skyline and stuff too, i think that's nice. probably more different route here and there

 

I'm down for a meet and drive to Twin Peaks. Sounds like fun.

How does March 26, Sat. sound for the SF Cruise Meet 2?

1st Leg
------------------------------
South Bay gathering (Mercado Theatre Parking lot - Highway 101 & Great America Parkway)

2nd Leg
------------------------------
Proceed to meet up w/ 2nd Leg group Mid-Peninsula gathering (somewhere in Union City/Hayward parking lot)

3rd Leg
------------------------------
1st & 2nd Leg group meet 3rd Leg group East/North Bay/SF at specified destination.

Then, we cruise to our final destination.


Ok, that's all I can think of for now. I hope I'm not stepping on anyone's toes that supposed to be coordinating or organizing this possible SF Cruise Meet 2?

This is just a 50,000 foot level plan, but the details can be ironed out by the organizers.

Guys, If Ryan is willing to drive up from SoCal. to spend a day with us. I think we should accommodate him on his request. Just my two cents. What do you guys think?

I'm game T-man but a couple of things. I may not have a running vehicle so you may just have to go without me. I might be able to drive the wifey's car though.

Second, March is not good for me and the fear of rain is still eminent. Also note the end of March is Easter so that's not a good weekend to be on the road.

If Flipside is "Really" coming up then for sure we should try to sync up the date with him.

Let's atleast see who else posts here with interest of attending and then go from there to determine a date.

So my target would be an time in April.

2ND LEG GROUP (MID-PENINSULA) - COORDINATOR (TDB)
3RD LEG GROUP (NORTH/EAST/SF BAY) - COORDINATOR (TBD)


Since I've been talking about this upcoming SF CRUISE MEET 2, I'm volunteering to coordinate the folks for a renedvous in SOUTHBAY (1ST LEG GROUP).

Of course, I can't do this alone, so if anyone from MID-PENINSULA and NORTH/EAST/SF BAY area can become a coordinator, the three of us can iron out the details as the projected date/time/location and route draws nearer.

This will be my first time coordinating this type of effort and if there's anything I'm doing wrong, pls let me know and I can step aside. Your suggestions/comments are valuable in order to make this SF CRUISE MEET 2 a memorable experience for all CL'ers.

Now, I'm gonig to throw out a date for everyone to check their plans/schedules.....
