Default Leather repair

While cleaning my leather seats, I noticed a small 1-inch cut on my passenger seat cushion's leather; I have no idea how it got there. The cut itself is shallow and does not appear to have gone all the way through.

Does anyone know of any good leather repair places in the Bay Area? I took it to Serramonte Lexus and they said it would cost $200 - $250 to repair. I'm wondering if there are any other places that can do a comparable repair for cheaper.

i don't really know of a place, but if it's that expensive, you might just as well get new leather covers from leatherseats.com?

Wow! You're right. I took a look at Leatherseats.com (I didn't before because I thought it would be much more expensive), and I might as well just go that route. I have doubts about my ability to install the leather myself though. Do you know of any good upholstery shops in the area?
