Default Car finally done at the Bodyshop

Some SUV backed into my car and took off a few weeks ago leaving front end damage on my car. Nice crushed hood and damaged bumper. Left me with the bill. I'm finally picking up the car today after 2 1/2 weeks in the bodyshop.

The estimated damage was $3,300. New hood, new bumper. etc... I took it to Toyota Berkeley Bodyshop because my family has taken our Toyota's there for years. Plus their ad states "The only Toyota Certified Collision Repair in the Bay Area".

I hope they matched the paint well and I can't tell a difference. The manager told me they'd paint the side fenders as well so it would blend in better. I'll keep you guys posted on how great of a job they did.

Patrick,

Man, sorry to hear that. You're local and I've still gotta try to meet up with you sometime btw!

The other place you should try (if you ever need) is B&S Hacienda here in Pleasanton. They've been in the business for years and are actually Lexus certified for paint and collision repair. The dealerships even use them after they heard how good they were and obtained the Lexus certification.

Hope everything comes out right when you get it. Let us know how it goes.

BTW, are you going to join us for the meet/drive to Santa Cruz?

Thanks Rominl and Inkblot,

I got the car back yesterday and everything looked great. The colored match and looks good as new. Only thing I notice was 3 small bumps on the clear coat, but it's nothing. I'm just ****. Overall, Toyota Berkeley Bodyshop did an awesome job.

It felt weird driving my car again after driving a rental(Mercury Grand Marquis) for 2 1/2 weeks.

Also, got a rock chip on the hoods on the way home on 580. Sucks..oh well. Lucky I just bough a Autovisuals paint pen.
