I had a friend of mine in Korea send it over to me. It was 180USD but I think they go for 250ish on ebay.

Accident evidence. Monitor who backs up into your car while parallel parking (hit & runs). That's what I would use it for.

pretty much... its your own witness in case of any accidents or scams that might take place while your on the road.
