Default wheel techniques -- big props

so i got a nail in my rear tire. i brought over to wheel techniques, they looked at it and told me it's not a good idea to plug the tire coz' it's kinda at the corner of the sidewall. it's danagerous since the tire stretches on turns, so it's better to patch it. but since they didn't have a patacher, they told me to go elsewhere, better than spending the money with them

so they helped even more (since i didn't know any good shop that has it, and at the same time work on high end wheels), and pointed me to T W motorsports in campbell. i went there and they helped me patched the tire good

big props to wheel technique. they don't just make money off you, they want the best for you as well!

i had my rear tires ran over a nail 3 different times. 2 on the rear passenger and 1 on the rear driver. and it's not fun knowing you might have to shell out $300 to get them replace but luckily, americas tires were able to patch them up at no cost.

wow that's bad.... yeah it's bad to know you might have to shed out 300 bucks for tires though i am kinda hesitant to just bring my wheel there except some that are good

That's the #1 reason I go to Tirerack.

For $150 I have all tires covered for ANY road hazard. The first year if I get a nail in the sidewall, they will replace and mount the tire for free. Brand new not pro rated.

Just think without insurance, if I get a nail in my side wall , that's $350 right there.

How EZ do you think it is for me to get a nail in this side wall????

Glen,
I guess this means you finally got your tires and rims on the car. Is it like the wifies? Looks good. Hopefully, you can accomplish what you are planning to do with this tire/rim set up.

he got the 841r, a lot more expensive stuff. but he got a great deal on the used set (pretty much like new imho) so it's all good.
