Default Need recommended shop to fix exhaust rattle!

Does anyone have any recommend shops that can fix an exhaust rattle. The left exhaust muffler pipe is hitting the differential. Rominl had the same problem and said I needed to bend the pipes. Does anyone have any recommended shop that can do this.

I'm going to try Exact but Im guessing this will need to be taken care of buy a muffler shop.

haha nah, it's actually a mechanic who helped me fix the problem. he just yanked on the exhaust a bit when it's on the car so it's bent slightly. not much, just maybe couple of mm and that's all you need

Ah, so that's why I saw that guy hanging from your pipe while it was up on the lift like that dude in those old Crazy Glue commercials!

Only caveat for "yanking" on the exhaust: be extra careful something either "upstream" or "downstream" from where you're yanking doesn't get moved at a joint (e.g. creating a leak in your exhaust line). Best to bend the pipe from the inside, but if it's only a matter of a couple milimeters then you probably don't have to worry too much.

Also, make sure the exhaust hangers aren't holding the line up too high.

John at Exact has been known to adjust exhausts now and then. You can 't really tell if a muffler shop is needed. It all depends on where the problem is. Give him a shot.
