I am not sure where you live but D and D bodyshop in San Mateo does good work. He has done work for me in the past and it came out very nice. Ask for Ceaser. My car is in there now getting a complete paint job

wassup bro thats nice that you're bodyshop. I'm from San Jose so i don't wanna make to oakland if i'm not sure what i'm looking for. If you could can you give me a appx estimate before i go up there. Here is what happen to my car. I got keyed but not that deep (No into metal) each side have one straight line from front to back. So what i want to do is repaint same color ( Factory color Silver) if you can tell me a blind estimate see how much. Thx

Why repaint the whole car? You should get an estimate on getting the damage repaired. Come by the NorCal Middle of Summer meet (early) and take a look at my car - I had damage repaired on the hood and both front fenders and the shop blended the new with the existing factory paint. Same guy has done work on RMMGS4's and INDGOGRL and several other NorcCal CL cars.

I also have a deep scratch on my rear bumper and need to get this fixed. Do you know if the shop has to redo the entire bumper or can they patch up the scratch only making it look like "like-new condtion"? By the way im out of NorCal as well and would probably benefit from the info in this thread.

I think you should get new bumper and repaint it. Bondo plastic not a good idea. I saw some guy selling front and rear bumper one Craigslist.org for 100 each. White if your car is white than you're very lucky should get it.

He charged $4000.00 but he is not just doing the average paint job. I have seen some of the work he's done including a Mercedes SLR which a guy took out the front end and it was virtually flawless when he was done.

If you come to the next meet you can be introduced to the painter who did redgs4, rmmgs4 and my car.

By the way my car is getting a lot of engine parts painted right now and the front / rear bmmpers, skirts and including some damage. You can see his work for yourself at the meet.

Don't tell me you can't find the meet thread?????
