Window tinting
Does anyone know a good place to have their windows tinted? I live in San Jose area and im willing to travel to fremont or somewhere close. Thanks

I just had my windows tinted today at Pro Tint in Sunnyvale, and it turned out very good . The # is 408-734-9663 -address is 1016 Morse. He advertises 3 windows for $99 on Craigslist alot. But it was 175 for all 5 windows.
I'm usually somewhat picky, and was nervous all day , because i really didnt know anything about this place. And am normally careful who i go to for service. So i was pleasantly surprised that it turned out well. -Anyhow i would recommend!

As posted earlier Automall Tint Factory in Fremont Auto mall exit.
Don't go to a tint shop that has employees changing like a revolving door. Go to a tint specialist. Sid and his partner do all the work for over 15 years now. This is the same advice I give on other services. Don't go to a paint shop go to a painter, don't go to a repair shop, go to a specific mechanic.
Automall has done a ton of CL members for years now, including my past 5 cars. Talk to Sid and tell him you were referred by CL.
Ask him about the special tint job he did on Glen's GS. A little something special he does for the GS that works quite well.

Auto Mall Tint Specialist
I got my GS done there. Sid did the work himself. He's meticulous and picky, so he does a great job. They used to be called Auto Mall Tint Factory, but have now changed their name to Auto Mall Tint Specialist. He does a great job. I will take my future cars to him also.
