I'm coming but my SC430 has suffered seriously when parking around SF. This parking by touch method does not work well for someone who likes to keep their car clean. Since coming back to Cali I used my car to go in and out of SF for 2.5 months in which I received $10,000 in cumulative damages to the vehicle. Many people I know with nice condition cars give up within a couple months once moving to SF.

Sorry to harp on this but this is the damage list:

Grinding the rear bumper (twice with other cars paint on car)
Grinding the front bumper (once)
Scratches from people sitting, leaning, or putting their stuff on it (all the time)
Door dings on driver side from people double parking.
Dings in general all over.
Smashed front bumper.
Broken headlight.
Deformed hood.
Fender needed replacement.
Front half of car needed repaint.

 

wow damn that's ridiculous damage mike... i am sor sorry to hear that! last time we saw your sc430 it was in almost like new condition! damn, this is yet another simple proof when i REFUSE to drive to sf, for ANY resaon...
