Unhappy Need fender work done.....

Some of you may know I got a set of new wheels
I originally ordered them in 19x9 et38 19x10 et42
Now..... as the wheels are at my friends place, he found out the rear is actually in 19x10.5 42et...
so if I do my math right, i have extra 6.4mm I am guessing that i will need to get my rear fender roll or shaved....
Can you experts give me hand and see do I need serious fender modification done or just fender rolling?
Thanks!
Ryan

You will need to do a little rolling/tucking in front and rolling/cutting in the rear.

you need more than a little roll, you need to shave the whole fender completely and more. i have 10.5 +41 and i shaved all the way to the sides and more and i still rub a bit if it's rear heavy. i can fix all problems but lazy

you need SERIOUS work, this is for professionals

you know we all do that ourselves. why need others when you can do it yourself

you don't need to pull it if you want, but you need to shave a lot

and btw, you should get 285 tires if possible. 275 would be too narrow and look funny

Yea, I was seraching for Glen's thread about his fenders.
It actually looks easy enough, since my friend will give me a hand on doing that.
I will shoot him a PM and get more info about.

Sux. I just finished up shaving my fenders (Thanks for the suggestion Glen )
After going through 4 belts(on one fender) I finally realised that I should be sanding perpendicular to the edge, not parallel. The second fender was a breeze.
Just some advice in case you DIY.

Cheers,
~Alan
