QUESTION FOR YOU GUYS.....Remember last year there was a meet and the meeting location was somewhere in Emeryville?

There's a shopping mall there w/ restaurants.

Can someone please tell me the exact location and the name of the restaurant so I can use this for the upcoming SF Cruise Meet (meeting place) ?

The meeting place was Bay Street Emeryville, top floor of parking lot 5B. We then went and had lunch at Fuddruckers (3rd floor).

how easy is it to get on highway 80 from there? Fuddruckers sounds like a cool place to have lunch there. How are the prices? the same as In-N-Out ?

I do remeber that because we took too long taking pictures at the top of the parking lot, that some peoples parking validations expired and we got stuck at the parking exit holding up traffic as the parking arm would go up!!!

Its right off 80 heading to Sac. Prices are a bit more than In-N-Out.

Yup, I was right behind you. Hopefully that doesn't happen again. Although the parking lot is kinda way in the back, I'm not sure if I could find it myself. Good thing I was following someone, and Liz made that nice lane change right before the exit.

TEE!!! fuddruckers is pretty cool place to eat...but it is kind of a pain to get on and off the freeway as a group. here is the website for menu and info prices:

Just curious, but isn't the cruise supposed to be on the Peninsula (did someone post San Mateo to Santa Cruz?). If so, wouldn't it be better to meet up on the West Bay? James

That parking lot would become a problem if we got 20-30 cars going out of there to start the Cruise and hop on I-80. I don't want any hang-ups getting out of that parking lot.

Are there any other parking areas nearby Fuddruckers? Or any other restaurant near Fuddruckers so we can have a quick lunch, get in, get out on I-80?

Oh, btw, a hint as to why I wanna meet in Emeryville for the starting point of the Cruise and get on I-80 as quickly as possible.
Thinking of.........reds, whites, etc......

Another place we can have a quick bite to eat is In and Out in Pinole. Lots of parking in the area. And best of all....There is a Starbucks with a drive threw in the same area. Also easy access to I-80.

***This looks like a perfect meeting lunch location off of I-80. I believe most folks know about this place and have meet there from previous convoys in the past. According to the map (see above link), it's right off the freeway and easy IN, easy OUT.

Plus, NorthBay folks and EastBay folks got it made if they head straight to Pinole.
But as for SouthBay folks, it's a little longer but I'm sure we'll manage.

Don't worry, I'm gonna setup the usual convoys heading up to Pinole.
