hi all-
since i'm from the bay i figure this is the right place for my first post. i bought a CPO 2002 IS300 SportCross yesterday from lexus of pleasanton. it's my first lexus, and hopefully it'll live up to its reputation for reliability. so far i'm impressed with the build quality and the handling.
i saw the dyno day post, i'll try to make it if i'm free. the discount on service will be a bit of help since i'm out some money for the car

There's not many IS sportcross models here and glad to see you are in a rare percentile.
It will be a welcome site to see another "rare" addition to the Norcal Family.

I thiink I understand what you're saying about the Love and Hate thing.
Yep, I joined CL 3-4 years ago, I loved it. Met some cool cars and people.
Attended the meets (about 3-5 a year) and still loved it.
Started to mod, loved it. spent more money. still loved it.
and some more money. hated it.
but I still gots the love for my Norcal CL family no matter what.

thanks everyone for the warm greetings. i'll do my best to make the meet.
it's strange, but the day i bought my car, i noticed a neighbor a couple of blocks up the street also has a black onyx sportcross, and i passed another black onxy sportcross when i was test driving the car down 580. it's not as rare as the dealer said

i'm pretty new here too, hope you come out to the dyno meet, would love to check out your sportcross - i haven't seen alot of them around and would love to check it out closer.

i had the only sportcross, at least while i was there i showed up around 11 i think, stayed until noon when my buddy got hungry and we went to lion plaza. i promise to hang around longer the next time

nolan! how've u been, haven't seen you in a loooong time. i still have my 'lude, but got an IS300 as a daily driver. i haven't been to a BAP meet in years, and lost touch with most of the BAP folks. good to see you here
