Default Recommedation for a Tire Patch in SF/Daly City Area

Hey Fellas,

I've just noticed I have a nail in my tire. I just moved to the city from the eastbay and I was wondering whats a reliable place in the SF/Daly City area to patch my tire. A place that won't scratch my rim removing the tire.

Thanks in Advance,
Patrick

If there is an America's Tire Co. in the area then I would suggest going there. They fix punctured tires depending on the location of the nail. If it is too close to the wall the they will most likely say they cant do it. But do try checking them out.

you could try wheel works in the city or even paul's tire . The reason i like these guys is cause they dismount the tire and patch it up from the inside. It does cost a little more

Which place dismounts and patches? I would like that service rather then plugging it. What was the cost of the service? Let me know. Thanks

Custom Alignment will unmount and patch. But they're in mountain view.

Yea, I've been to Custom Alignment for my new tires and alignment. Little too far for me to drive just to patch a tire. I'll try Paul's Tire that was suggested.

Sorry you are not in San Jose Area or I would recommend you to go to Tire Outlet on Alum Rock & HWY680. They do tire dismount and patch under $15.

When I was there last time, I spoke to one guy there and found out he is also a CL reader, he end up gave me the free tire patch.

Same trick may work.. teeheehee. They are cool. $25 for a batch is too much for me.

Thanks for all the replies. I eventually took it to Paul's Tires, which is like 5 minutes away from me. Paid $35, but it's better than going real far, especially with gas prices nowadays.

Aww America's Tire would have fixed it for free. If it also needed balancing, they would have also thrown that in for free. Good to hear you got if taken care of though.
