What part of 101? Where does he live?
How 'bout Caltrain station in Burlingame. We hooked up there before. The lot across from Audio Images. Who else is gonna meet up? Do we have to be at the meet at 9am or are we gonna meet up before the caravan at 9am?

I am planning a route that will have what I am guestimating to be ONE STOPLIGHT in the 18miles from Mountain View to the Fremont venue.

This path will hopefully allow us to not get separated and not require walkie talkies.

Hey if Esther can hold a Sushi meet in SoCal, then NorCal can surely hold a Dim Sum meet.

so who's down for dimsum this coming Sunday. Father's day brunch for whoever can make it?

Koi Palace - Daly City seems to be the most recommended one by one of my friends.

it's good, but way overpriced. i know two places down here in cupertino and milpitas that offer about teh same food for less. i would never go to koi palace for dim sum, saw the prices and i knew i were full already @_@

Jimbo's in SF, but closer to 101 than 280. But if he doesn't reply then we'll just get together.

Milpitas and Cupertino are too far south. How about Millbrae.

Ryan, Millbrae does have good dim sum places: Flower Lounge, F-o-o-k Yuen, Hong Kong Pavilion and Zen Peninsula. But like Koi Palace, esp. since its Father's Day, will be exremely packed even when they first open. If you try going during peak time, expect over an hour wait, probably more.

I agree, its usually less crowded (but probably not this Sunday) and decently priced. As far as price is concerned, no dim sum place beats New Hing Lum on Noriega St btw 22nd and 23rd Ave. Small plates are $1.70, medium $2, and large $2.30 (they might've gone up a little recently). As for So City, there's always Grand Palace and Hung Tho Seafood.
