Registration is now closed. Everyone is invited to the Custom Alignment meet, but due to the overwhelming response we are fully booked at the LeMans Karting location.

IF YOU ARE NOT REGISTERED, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ENTER THE MEET PARKING AREA AT LEMANS AS ALL PARKING SLOTS HAVE BEEN RESERVED, BUT THERE WILL BE ADEQUATE SPACE TO PARK IN THE VISITOR PARKING AREAS.

This year, we're combining forces with our Toyota Bretheren to have an ALL Toyota / Lexus Super meet.

Over 10 clubs will be attending. I will update this post with more details to follow in the next few days.

ALL Lexus owners and models of Lexus are welcome to attend. Modified cars are not a requirement to enter your car. Stock will do, cuz this meet's for YOU

Sorry for this late update, but we have now confirmed that there will be enough parking space for all attendees.

The one requirement is that you MUST sign up online in order to be admitted. Anyone who drives up and is not on the registration list will have to park on the outside parking lot. There will be adequate parking for guests.

It's OK to cancel or No Show, so if you "might" come please sign up now.

This is a two part meet.

Part ONE:

In the morning will be at Custom Alignment in Mountain View. This is a special seminar that will educate everyone on how alignments should be done on cars with custom suspensions or lowering. They will also discuss tire balance and vibration issues and possible cures. Custom Alignment is one of very few shops that will actually Tune your suspension for maximum performance. If you are lowered and have modified your suspension, let Custom Alignment TUNE your suspension to get the maximum performance out of it.

The seminar starts just after 10am. Please be prompt.


Part TWO:
At NOON we will caravan from Mountain View to Fremont where we will meet at LeMans Karting.

I estimate the caravan will be about 50 cars. It should be a pretty cool cruise, plus we will make our grand entrance into the meet all together.


There will be several competitions with awards and raffle prizes there. Food will be available for purchase.

GATES close at approximately 1pm. Please arrive on time as you will not be admitted even if you pre register.

This will be a double rapid rewards meet. One point for attending the Mountain View seminar and another point for attending the LeMans karting. Please read about Rapid Rewards in the "2006 Meet" thread to find out what that is all about.

Here's what we need from everyone:

1. Respond to this post and say whether you are attending at 10am(Mountain View Meet Location) or 12:30 (Fremont Meet ONLY).

2. Read the Karting thread and respond AS DIRECTED if you would like to join us in Go Karting.
(The Karting Thread will be posted this afternoon)

The morning wlll start at Custom Alignment in Mountain View.

For those that didn't go to last years BOS meet, also hosted by Custom Alignment,, you guys are in for a real treat.

Everything you ever wanted to know about High Performance Wheel Alignement but didin't know who to ask.

Minimizing inner tire tread wear (camber issues), resolving steering wheel shake, explaining why polyurethane bushings can resolve several mystery suspension problems and more will all be discussed in this very educational seminar.

Once you experience this seminar, you will know why we don't call Custom Alignment just an alignment shop, we call them High Performance Suspension Tuners.

Once we complete our Seminar with Custom Alignment that morning, we will all roll out at NOON in what is expected to be a 50+ car convoy over to LeMans Karting in Fremont.

Once there, we will join forces with our Toyota cousins to create the Bay Area's first Super Meet.

Over the next few days, I will revise this post to provide more information about the activities we are planning.

What I can say for now is that the Final Event of the day will be a Top Gun competition with the best Go Kart drivers from each car club having a shoot out for Club Bragging Rights and a Trophy.

The thing with the karting is if you feel comfortable and if you should be FAST it will be up to you to enter into the competition round.

Either way, karting is one of those once in your life opportunities.

Everyone should try it atleast once in their life.

Chris,
you have until next Sunday to pre-register for karting. Racing in the "Final competition" is an option and open to the top drivers from each club "rated by best time through the 8 lap runs".

You can sign up the day of the meet, but sign up first thing to ensure a spot.

The ONLY way to get a Free meet Tee Shirt is to sign up in advance though.
