Looking for other CL members who will be traveling this same route on Saturday morning. Will start out west bound on I 80 from Roseville around 7:45 AM should get to the I 680 interchange by 8:30 or so and head south toward Fremont. From there its Mission BLvd to I 880 to CA-237 to 101N. Anyone think they want to make this a caravan? Just shout out!

There is a group that will be forming up in the Concord area, B of A parking lot at Willow Pass Rd and I-680 at 8:00 AM then proceeding south on 680 as outlined in my initial post. I'm going to try and rendez-vous with that group. For those that are out my way, such as leeshdw, we will need to leave the R'ville area by 6:30 -6:45 am

 

Come on over to Concord and meet up with us...

Concord sounds good to me. For you local people (Lincoln, Roseville, Sac and surrouding areas) we should find a good place to meet up in the morning. I'm down to leave whenever. Let's get something organized!

Hey Glen, great to have you chimin' in. Gateway, I take it you are based in the Elk Grove area, is that right? If so, then we should start this convoy somewhere along Hwy 50 and then head west to catch I 80. As far as 49IS300 is concerned, I think the best solution for him is to meet at the Concord staging site since he is already pretty close to there and has to back track a bit to catch 680. Leeshdw, are you up for leaving early enough to get to Concord around 8:00 AM? SBMGS4, it sounds as if we should have 3 or 4 more cars joining up with your group in Concord. How many will there be for the trip to CA?

 

Thanks, Mark. I figure that early on a Saturday morning, the drive from R'ville to Concord should take no more than an hour and a half. Also, I assume that from the Concord staging area to CA will be about an hour, do you think that's about right? See you Saturday morning!
