Thought I'd give an update on what to expect at each meet location.


MAKE SURE TO SIGN IN AT THE Custom Alignment MEET. WE WILL ALSO BE PRE-REGISTERING ALL THOSE WHO WILL BE ATTENDING THE LEMANS MEET.

IF YOU DO NOT PRE-REGISTER, YOU WILL EXPERIENCE DELAYS GETTING INTO THE LEMANS MEET.

THINK OF IT LIKE HAVING A "FAST PASS" at DISNEYLAND.. WHICH LINE WOULD YOU WANT TO BE IN??

At Custom Alignment in Mountain View the attendance is about 60 cars.

Please do try to arrive promptly before 10am. There is not enough space to park all the cars in the Custom Alignment lot, but DO remember that this portion of the meet is geared more towards the seminar. The LeMans portion of the meet will be where our cars will be on display. We will ltry to squeeze as many cars as possible into the lot, but if we do overflow, please just park along the street.

Once the seminar starts in the garage area, please hold your conversations down or mingle away from the seminar area.

For those who are curious what they will hear, basically EVERYTHING you didn't know about alignments and tire balancing and didn't know to ask.

Custom alignment will show off their sophisticated equipment, and how they can identify and resolve most any tire or suspension vibration issues.

They will also show you how THEY do an alignment and you will find that aligning a car to FACTORY spec is WRONG when you have a lowered car or larger tires/ wheels.

Custom Alignment tunes your suspension to your driving style, your specific suspension set up and they even factor in things such as your driver weight.

These guys test drive every car before and after alignment, then sometimes they will adjust the suspension again until it is "just right".

What this all means is almost NO two cars have the exact same alignment specs.

They do have successful racing experience and set up many race cars and you will often find exotics and other hi performance cars having work done there as well.

Just like a high performance Turbo or supercharged engine needs to be TUNED for optimum performance, a lowered car with aftermarket suspension needs to be TUNED in order to get the performance you paid for.

If you have spent $$ on your tires and wheels, Custom Alignment will Tune your suspension so that you will achieve the maximum milage and even tread wear, without vibration or other alignment or tire balance issues.



There will be some prizes raffled off at the end of the seminar.

For now I will say:

As you roll in you will be given an information packet (and a TEE shirt for karting Pre Pays)

Entry gate closes at 1pm. No IN & OUTS, just outs ONLY.

Each entrant will receive a raffle ticket. One ticket PER CAR NOT per person

There are 80 people signed up for karting. Don't delay, get out there and run.

There will be food for sale at the meet from 11:30 AM TO 1:30pm.

$10 Karting sessions will be from 1:30 to 3pm.


Be sure to provide your Screen Name NOT your real name when you register for karting. How many Chris, Mike's and Joe's do you think will be karting?


If you have NEVER karted at Lemans before, you must attend the breifing class and your name signed off before you can run.

There will be several other contests that people can enter to win prizes.


The raffle wil be held at 3:30

The karting Club Shoot Out will commence at 4pm and the winner crowned at 5pm.

Also, I'm not planning on attending the Custom Alignment get-together, so what time should I show up at Lemans in order to get the briefing class in?

Hey I sent you a PM early wednesday night saying I'd be comign and I didnt see my name on the list either. Ill be bringing my car, but since its pretty much stock, I'm not so keen on displaying it haha. But I do want to attend the session, meet people, drive with the convoy, and check out other cars

Stock or not, come on out..you'll definitely have a good time . We were all at stock at some stage, and lots of us have blemishes on our cars and dents and stuff that make us all somewhat a little paranoid bringing the cars in that condition (especially me )...but its all about fellowship, and everyone is cool about it See you tomorrow...
