First Ever Release of EOS Meet Video
Some of you know our Official LGW Videographer Jawnthen.
You might have seen his other work on our Exhaust videos, or the Cruise meet video.
Now released for the first time to the public is the video that Jawnthen filmed and produced for EOS V2.
The video is less than 10 minutes long. I was there during the entire filming of it and I can tell you the shooting alone took about 10 hours to set up and shoot. Jawnthen then put countless hours editing and rendering this film. Now I have an idea how it feels to film a movie.
We originally released this for sale on DVD in higher res video and Dolby Digital Audio. To get the most out of this video, It is best watched using high performance speakers with a sub and then just CRANK IT UP !
Enjoy: http://www.lgwnorcal.com/videos/#null THEN SELECT : LGW EOSV2 -LGW DVD
As a tribute to all the work he's done for NorCal, here's an article on Jawnthen's background in film making and his other contributions.

Take a very close look at that burnout.
There is something significant that was done to modify that shot.
From Jawnthen's perspective it was just a part of his artistic liscense..
Can anyone identify what's "wrong" with that part of the video?
This is a question for newbies OK? rominl, redgs4, neo, etc. are all banned from providing the answer.

we talking about the black IS300 180 burnout?
cause I don't see anything...no cuts or anything...not sure how the car is supposed to sound (never owned a turbo car) but looks normal to me expect he's driving on wrong side of street heh
In the next part (3 GS going around the corner, before the credits roll) the video was spliced after the first silver GS went through and before the blue GS comes next
In the very first burnout of the video (silver GS) the tire sound doesn't match the burn out left on pavement...maybe audio burnout was cut in? i dunno not very good at these types of games heh

I'm talking the IS300 burning out in a 180.
Driving the wrong side of the street is a clue. Now why would he do that for? Need to look more closely.
Note: the Silver GS doing a burn out was me.

Richie,
wish you could make it over to this side of the pond.
Let me know if you go to SEMA this year.
A couple of years ago I sent you the DVD of this exact same footage. Were you able to play it back?

Driver is on the right side and exhaust is on the left. Image was flipped?

Good one Mike. As the winner you will receive a free souvenir EOS commemorative Dog Tag !
Actually if you play this version from our DVD release, on a large screen monitor it is easy to tell the driver is sitting on the right hand side.
So either the car is JDM, but yeah driving down the wrong side of the street and the exhaust on the left are give-a-ways well.
So how many engineers does it take to figure this out ???
