good transmission shop in bayarea

i need a good transmission shop in bay area , closer to s.f. the better . i need to install valve body upgrade, lsd, torque convertor, sprag and clutch pack upgrade.?

John and Sandy over at Exact Motorsports should be able to do this for you, give em a call and check it out. They have done alot of work for many of the NorCal members and come highly recommanded.

cottman transmission in hayward. they rebuilt my tranny and it runs strong. plus i didn't have to pay for an electronic scan for my check engine light.

What was wrong with your transmission in the first place? What did they do as part of the rebuild? Did they install upgraded parts that would allow the transmission to handle more power?

bchau_gt, you are correct. I recalled he mentioned his car is going to have more boost or something...

Speaking of tranny, I need mine (the GTS) to rebuilt too... You know the syncho problem that I have...
