Default Just went karting for the first time @ LeMans

Wow was that insanely fun! I can't believe I've waited this long to go karting. Honestly that experience makes me want to buy a kart and get into racing. I went with a buddy for the $55 package deal.. it was like 10 minutes of practice and then a 75 lap race? Of which I completed like 65.. I kept getting in trouble for drifting around the corners.... hahaha, it was fun though, and I didn't spin out at all, except for one time when someguy spun out right there infront of me and I totally wiped out trying to avoid him. But I later learned I wasn't really cutting any time down by doing that and got a little faster by taking them wide. Man, when I first got into the car.. it was a little bit scary! You have to really slam the pedal to get anywhere. And those karts come loose REALLY easily. But I'm pretty used to a loose end thanks to my wonderfull fishtailing LS I swear it is a deathtrap in heavy rain.

I think my fastest lap was around a 20.3.. That was the second best of the group, one guy had a 19.8.. I think the track record is a 18.2 or something around there... but for my first time, I was pretty happy. I had a decent best lap time, but I placed last place hahaha.. I got pulled in the pits like 4 times! And people kept passing me when the safety flag was out..

All in all, it was an awesome experience. I think I'm gonna go back today! Its really a thrill to cut loose and I feel like you can really learn a lot more about driving.. Haha when we left and I got back into my car, my first thought was, "Wow.. This boat is amazingly smooth.. ".. I'm seriously thinking about buying a kart now.. I've always wanted to learn more performance driving... karting may be a good way to start. And then I could move up to doing autocross and go from there.. God, I wish racing didn't require such a large budget!

Suneet,
save some of you $$ for EOS. We will offer laps @ $10 for 10 laps and you can go as often as you want. This is a killer deal, considering how much this type of karting blows away Malibu Grand Prix.

Everyone who attends EOS is eligible for this, including friends and family.

Stay Tuned for more karting updates and pre-pay reservation information coming next week.

You can also read the FAQ section about karting at EOS on the home page of www.LGWNorCal.com

Cheater!!!!
Suneet, admit that trip of yours was a private practice just to make sure you will beat us all!

Teeheehee… J/K.

I wish my CFO at home will give me extra allowance so I can have my training day also. Hmm... I think I should save up my lunch money for a week then I can go.

See you in EOS!
J'Doc
