Hey guys -

So a couple of the 2nd gen owners were thinking about doing the red-outs for the tail lights. I said I would post some compare pics of the Aerotech redouts and the rvinyls.

The rvinyls match much better as you can see from the pics but the film comes in a sheet and you'll need to cut it to size. You can use my aerotect ones as a template, and Putz has some as well... Or just order both The aerotect's are pretty cheap $6 if I remember.

oh ok so it's the darkness huh, david? i thought that's some sort of reflections. but yeah, i can see the difference in that

yah it's pretty minor difference unless you are looking for it. The AeroTect ones are much darker than the rvinyl films. Putz and I both had the rvinyl ones at the mini-meet so the other IS2 owners couldn't do a compare and were asking about the difference with the AeroTects

is the vinyl film red? if so, can I get a small piece of it, say 6 inches wide by 1 inch height?

if you have any spare leftover.

I'd like to put it on my back tail light just above my trunk.
It's clear white right now.

okay i found it.... but it might not be enough.... its cutting it very close... can't have any mistakes while cutting it..
