Newbie here
Just wanted to say hi. Got a silver 04 IS300 with manual transmission. I've had the car 10 days ands its already been broken into. F****r broke a window to steal an old digital camera. currently awaiting OE Lexus glass to replace window.
Short history: a very old Maxima.org member (1989 Maxima (Max9), hence the name) as well as zilvia.net member. Got the IS because my S13 hatchback (1989 Nissan 240SX) failed smog and I've wanted an IS since 2000.
Car will be my daily driver but may add CAI, clear front bumper lenses and a front lip. I want to keep the mods simple.

Hi all,
Got off the phone with Concord lexus Wednesday and my window glass has arrived. Will attempt a DIY install since i've installed window glass on a friends car before. Will try to chronicle the install and post pics later.
I'm actually in Monterey and come up to the East bay every other week. I'll definitely try to attend some meets as my work schedule allows it.

Got the glass Thursday afternoon. I immediately took off the door panel and started vacuuming all the little pieces of broken glass. I think i got most, if not all, of it out. I tried to get the new glass in but gave up because my friend, my dad and i could not figure it out.
I call a window business and the guy came out immediately. Turns out i missed a bolt at the top of the window frame, hidden beneath the weatherstripping. I took pics of the door panel removal and other things.
