Default Need Alarm Install Recommendation

Hi All,

I want to get Viper 791xv or similar alarm with remote start installed in my 01 gs430 but do not want to take the car in to any install shop as i would like the work to be clean and everything to work the first time.

So do we have any recommended shop(s) here in Bay Area where club lexus members have had good experience? or do any of you club Lexus member(s) do this for a living in the area?

Any help would be appreciated.

I agree with him ^

But if you really want to get it done I would recommend Bay car stereo in Mountain View. Ask for Bo and tell him Cory sent you. They do great work and I have had over 4 alarms installed by them with the hardest one being a 2004 Audi A4. All installs where flawless.

Nabisco, thanks for the response. I will give them a call and let them know you referred them to me.

Thanks again!

I had the Python remote start with 1 mile range installed in my car. I am still able to use the factory alarm as well. So basically I have 2 different alarms in my car. So the factory key alarm still works, but not with the aftermarket alarm. I had mine done in SF at Mach 3. They did a good job, but I would probably say Custom Car Alarms also in SF on Vaness St. does a good job. More professional I believe and very clean job. They work in the Honda dealership so the dealer recommends customers to them if they need audio or alarms done.

I would go with either a Clifford or I believe Luxury Motors has an alarm that works with your stock remote thats pretty cool. I havent actually needed an aftermarket alarm for any of my past cars although all of them were modified. As for a shop, I usually go to Auto Sound Performance in Daly City, they can be reached at 650758-6500, ask for Lawrence and tell him Big Phil sent ya.
